Military and guerrilla of Rio de Janeiro (23/10 / 1937-17 / 9/1971). The son of a carpenter, he makes a gymnasium at a college of priests and joins the Cadet Preparatory School in Porto Alegre, in 1955. Two years later, he is transferred to the Agulhas Negras Military Academy in Resende (RJ) and declared an aspirant. -official in 1960.

He now serves in the 4th Infantry Regiment, in Quitaúna, in the city of Osasco (SP). He is sent to join the UN Peace Forces in the Gaza region (Palestine), from which he returns 18 months later. He is linked to the 6th Army Police Company in Porto Alegre when the 1964 military coup occurs. He returns to Quitauna in 1965 and is promoted to captain in 1967.

He makes contacts with leftist factions defending the armed struggle to overthrow the dictatorship and, in 1969, leaves the barracks to join the clandestine Revolutionary Popular Vanguard (VPR) organization, bringing weapons from the garrison to the guerrillas.

A sniper, he becomes one of the most active militants of the armed opposition to the military regime. He participates in various actions, such as bank robberies, and installs a guerrilla outbreak in the Ribeira Valley, in the south of the state of São Paulo, disbanded in 1970 by the Army.

In the same year he commanded the kidnapping of the Swiss ambassador in Brazil, Giovanni Enrico Bucher, in Rio de Janeiro, and fled to Bahia. On September 17, 1971 is located in the wild area of ​​Bahia, in the municipality of Ipupiara, and murdered by the forces of repression.
